A couple evenings ago, I got a little crafty and came up with this all-natural lip balm. What’s great about this recipe is that it’s easy to make and has very few ingredients. This yum-tastic lip balm is a great stocking stuffer for the holiday seasons, and is great for everyone on your list from moms, dads, boyfriends and kids!
INGREDIENTS
Honey
Coconut Oil
Almond Oil
Beeswax
Side note: you can purchase beeswax pellets online to make the process easier, but it’s pricier. I stuck to buying a beeswax candle and grating it to little pieces.
RECIPE
Combine 1 Tablespoon of Coconut oil, 1 Tablespoon of Almond Oil and 1 1/2 Teaspoons of Beeswax in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in the microwave until it’s all melted.
Mix the melted liquid and add 1 1/2 teaspoons of honey. Whisk together then pour into individual containers.
Let the lip balm harden for 30 minutes before closing the lids.
Done!
Can I replace almond oil with a different oil? Just in case someone is allergic.
Whole Foods sells it, and you can also find it online. I buy mine online in bulk on Amazon! Just make sure it’s organic. 🙂
Where can you find the almond oil? Is it some thing very common to find?
Just about 13!
How many tins does this recipe make?

This is great!
Yes it does that’s why it’s important to add the honey after melting the oils and then stir, stir STIR!
Doesn’t the honey sink to the bottom of the oil? Since honey is water based and water and oil don’t mix.
You’re welcome! Enjoy…
I love the idea thank you!!!!
