MAC Monday: Ruby Woo Lipstick

It’s MAC Monday, folks! For my MAC Monday posts, I like to highlight a go-to MAC product that I feel every woman must have in her arsenal. Today’s pick is Ruby Woo lipstick.

Ruby Woo is not your average red lippy. It is the perfect shade of cherry-red. It’s not too orange and not too dark. It’s also a retro-matte formula, which means it’s super long wearing and stays true to the color your see in the tube. I refuse to wear red lipsticks that aren’t matte, because as most of us have experienced, red lipstick smears everywhere. The retro-matte formula of Ruby Woo is one of the only reds that I trust enough to put on my clients and of course for myself. And for just $15, it’s a steal. Here’s a shot of me rocking my fave back in the fall of 2012.

What’s also great about this lipstick is that it’s the perfect red for any skin tone. Let’s look at some examples:

Dita Von Teese, a MAC spokesmodel and burlesque super star is a huge fan of Ruby Woo. It pops beautifully on her pale skin.

MAC Monday- Please Me Lipstick

Hi peeps, as most of you know I adore MAC products. I love them so much in fact, that I decided I will be showcasing one every Monday. For the very first “MAC Monday” I’m bringing you my recent find, “Please Me” lipstick. Please Me is the perfect mix of nude and pink. It’s completely matte and creamy texture make this a gorgeous lipstick that can be worn alone or under gloss. I’ve been wearing it with a swipe of Fresh’s Sugar clear lip balm under neath and I can’t tear myself away from it. It’s just…LOVELY.

Look how pretty it is on this model’s skin with those flirty eyes!

I recommend this lipstick color to those of you who with yellow undertones. Anyone with olive skin in the “medium” tone range will look fab with this on.

“Please Me” goes for $15 smackaroos.
